Create a personal painting with images significant to you, in the colorful, lively folk art format of stacking, interacting and pattern.

Portland based artist, Alison O’Donoghue will be teaching a 3-day workshop at Port Townsend School of the Arts, April 22nd through 24th, 2017. Using images significant to each individual, personal paintings will emerge in the colorful, lively folk art format of stacking, interacting and patterning. The simple, yet meaningful imagery of birds, animals, flowers, plant and other objects, combine in the harmonious and interactive world with the bounds of the board.

Alison’s art shows regularly at Port Townsend’s Simon Mace Gallery, various Portland galleries and online at aliorange.com. She has been featured in aboutfacemag.com and radio OPB in Portland
