What: PT Wearable Art Show
Where: McCurdy Pavilion, Fort Worden
When: May 13th – 2pm & 7:30pm
How: Buy your Matinee or Evening tickets at Brown Paper Tickets: www.brownpapertickets.com/event/2722563
We are less than two weeks away from 47 amazing pieces hitting the runway at McCurdy Pavilion! Dale Chihuly Glass, snow fencing, felt, and plumbing insulation are a few of the inspirations our talented artists used this year. Come see how these sketches turned into reality. All proceeds for this annual fundraiser goes to JCF’s Fund for Women & Girls endowment fund, which gives a grant each year to benefit women and girls in Jefferson County.
This year the ‘Boutique’ at the Port Townsend Wearable Art Show will have more items- more than what is in the Fashion section of the show. At least 40% of the proceeds from the Boutique goes to the Fund for Women & Girls. The Boutique will feature more wearable art pieces from Judith Bird, Joyce Wilkerson, Lynn DiNino, Donna Lark-Weiner, paula pay la renta, Janice Speck, Tamara Halligan and Teri Nomura. The Boutique will be open 1/2 hour before each show, during intermission and after the shows.
Come shopping and contribute to the Fund for Women & Girls at the same time. We have a large video screen that shows details, so everyone in McCurdy has a great seat!
