Enjoy Free Concerts on the Dock

Enjoy Free Concerts on the Dock

The Port Townsend Main Street’s Concerts on the Dock summer music series kicks off Thursday, July 2, 2015, at Pope Marine Park Plaza in downtown Port Townsend.

These all-ages, free concerts take place each Thursday through August 20. Local vendors and a Beer/Wine & Cider Garden contribute to the festive atmosphere. Seating opens at 4:30pm, show starts at 5:00pm and end at 7:30 pm.

Come to dance, see your friends, enjoy a beer and have a bite; in addition to loyal, perennial vendors Daily Bird Pottery and James Jackson Massage, enjoy food at every concert, alternating between Dented Buoy Pizza and Olgita’s, as well as coffee from Java Gypsy and Magical Henna! Bring a chair or a blanket and settle in for some great tunes.

Concerts on the Dock kicks off with a special appearance by Marley’s Ghost, a virtuoso aggregation composed of singer/multi-instrumentalists Dan Wheetman, Jon Wilcox, Mike Phelan, Ed Littlefield Jr. and Jerry Fletcher. This band has a long history with Centrum, and the Port Townsend Main Street Program is excited to collaborate with Centrum on this first show. It leads into a weekend of full-blown entertainment with the Old Fashioned 4th of July at the Fort.

July 2nd – Marley’s Ghost

July 9th – Trenary and The Coal Miners

July 16th – Locust Street Taxi

July 23rd – T.S. Fisher and the Smooth Operators
