Learn how you can be prepared on the water at a free lecture on Feb 27th, 2013 at 12 noon at the Northwest Maritime Center.
Jordan Pollack and Erik Wennstrom will present through slide show and hands-on demonstration boating first aid techniques, discuss onboard maritime emergencies and how to mitigate hazards, along with training and equipment recommendations.
Sharing stories and skills, the two will entice the audience to enhance their own preparedness through training and proper equipment onboard their own vessels.
A Comprehensive Guide to Marine Medicine will be available for purchase at the event -a pocket size, maritime first aid book recommended for all boaters RSVP to attend by emailing: chandlery@nwmaritime.org
