See Port Townsend from the water on weekends this summer at the Northwest Maritime Center. On Saturdays and Sundays from noon to four the 26-foot motor launch Martha J will take up to six passengers at a time on a short (approximately 30 minute) cruise of Port Townsend Bay.
Tours will leave the NWMC dock on the hour and half-hour and are on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be a sign up sheet on the dock and life jackets are provided. The tours are free of charge, but a donation of $5 per person is suggested.
Any proceeds from the tours will go toward NWMC youth educational programs.
