The Northwest Maritime Center will be hosting a free presentation from 12pm to 1:30pm at the Wooden Boat Chandlery with Port Townsend mariner Betty White.

Betty Wright will share the journey that she and her husband made from Anacortes to British Columbia’s Princess Louisa Inlet, a journey of 438 miles, in their 16-foot wooden outboard motor boat.

Their adventures will come to life with a slide show that showcases the beauty of a majestic glacier-carved inlet that is relatively untouched by man and inaccessible except by boat or float plane. Betty recently published a book “Adventuring to Princess Louisa Inlet”with over 268 photographs.
